ABOUT ME
Hello!
Welcome to my online portfolio! Born and raised in small town Tullahoma, Tennessee, I still remember the magic I felt as a little girl picking up my grandfather's camera for the first time and seeing what I could do with it. Driven by my passion for photography, I decided to pursue a BFA in Design Communications and Photography at Belmont University, and graduated in May 2016 with Honors. For me, photography is seeing beauty in the ordinary, wonder in something average, and inspiration in common everyday things. And a photographer is someone who enlightens the paths of others by seeing what others do not, capturing it with the lens, and sharing those secrets with the world.
I decided to couple this passion with my interest in Graphic Design, and I can safely say I have found my second love. Design is a way of life that goes far beyond the computer screen. Since the beginning of my career, I’ve focused on channeling my talent and creativity into meaningful and powerful results. I take pride in the work I do, as well as the strong relationships I’ve built with clients and colleagues. A few life lessons design has taught me are that whatever you do, always keep it consistent, be intentional, and delete what is unnecessary.
